User centred design (UCD) focuses on needs of the user to produce a user friendly system.

In the development of the mihealth we have worked in collaboration with following groups to design a system that meets users needs.

• Patients & support group volunteers
• Healthcare professionals
• Health researchers
• Digital content experts

This approach has enabled us to determine the following:

• The range and type of information that should to be made available through the system.
  
  
• The most appropriate way to structure and display information for ease of access and understanding .
  
  
• An interface and navigation system that is easy to use and lets users access information quickly and efficiently.
  
  
• Features and functions that support users practical needs.
  

Ongoing system development

We are committed to our user centred design approach and ongoing user feedback continues to inform development of the system to ensure that mihealth meets the needs of its users and that they can utilise the system in the course of their daily lives.
